Pakistan Post issues special postage stamp to mark ‘Yaum-e-Istehsal’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will leave no stone unturned to support the legitimate struggle of our Kashmiree brethren against the Indian state terrorism and illegitimate occupation of Jammu & Kashmir till the resolution of this long outstanding dispute in accordance with their wishes and aspirations, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mr. Shibli Faraz and Federal Minister for Communications, Mr. Murad Saeed, said on Monday on the occasion of issuance of Special Postage Stamp by Pakistan Post over one year completion of Jammu & Kashmir siege. The Federal Minister for Communications further stated that this issuance of Special Postage Stamp by Pakistan Post over one year completion of Jammu & Kashmir siege is a token of love, affinity and the resolve that Pakistan attaches to the noble cause of our Kashmiree brothers and sisters. The Federal Minister for Communications stated that this special postage stamp is to be issued on 5 August 2020 to mark 365 days of an unprecedented spate of arbitrary detentions, extrajudicial killings and other gross abuses of human rights in IOJ&K. Let me assure you that Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan will not let our Kashmiree brethren alone in their legitimate struggle against Indian state-terrorism, blatant human rights violations and unlawful occupation of Jammu & Kashmir, the Federal Minister for Communications stated. While appreciating the role of the present government, the Federal Minister said that by raising voice on all international forums against violations of human rights and turning the valley of Jammu & Kashmir into to a slaughter house by the Indian government, the world community has at last taken notice of the issue. “The world, he said, now cannot afford to push the Kashmir issue under the carpet. The excesses of atrocities are about to end and the supreme and unprecedented sacrifices of our Kashmiree brothers and sisters will not go in vain. Kashmir is our jugular vein and we will go to any extend in our support to legitimate rights of our kashmiree brethren, the Federal Minister for Communications stated. The Director General Pakistan while discussing the features of Special Postage Stamp stated that this Special Postage Stamp highlights all the dimensions and sacrifices made by our brothers and sisters in Jammu & Kashmir siege during the last one year. He further stated that the availability of this Special Postage Stamp will be ensured in all post offices and special efforts will be made to circulate them through our embassies in all over the world to invite attention of the international community to put an end to the illegitimate Indian occupation of Jammu & Kashmir.
