PM assures people of IOK that they are not alone in their struggle, whole Pakistani and Kashmiri nation are standby with them
MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has urged upon the United Nations and world powers to realize the gravity of the situation obtaining in occupied Kashmir and play their leading role in resolving the long-standing Kashmir dispute for establishing durable peace. In a statement on the eve of the Black day being observed across Azad Kashmir on Saturday to mark the Indian dependence day, he said it is the fundamental responsibility of the world community to help resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute for establishing lasting peace in the region. He said India had illegally occupied on a big part of occupied Kashmir for the last 73 years with the use of brute force and has intensified its brutalities to consolidate her hold over the held territory. He said India has violated the human right in occupied Kashmir to suppress the indigenous freedom struggle and it is the responsibility of the United Nations and civilized world to take notice of Indian brutalities and play their effective role in resolving the Kashmir dispute The Prime Minister made it clear that Kashmir is not a territorial dispute but it was a question of granting the Kashmiri their internationally agreed right to self-determination. He said that Kashmiri living all the world has given a clear message to the Indian Prime Minister that India will not be able to consolidate her hold over occupied Kashmiri with the use of brute force and Kashmiri will ultimately get their right of self-determination. He assured the people of Occupied Kashmir that they are not alone in their struggle but the whole Pakistani and Kashmiri nation are standby with them.
