Peshawar: The President of Vigilant Media Watchdog, 4th Pillar International, Farouq Mirza with his team members visited Peshawar and distributed food packages and face masks among Corona infected and low income journalists. While talking to the local journalists, Farouq Mirza told that 4th Pillar International is designing a program in the near future to extend technical as well as financially support to the unemployed and low income journalists of the province in a sustainable way. He stressed that media has a vital role in the society and its entire professionals should adopt ethically standard responsibility to eradicate spreading false reports in the given society. Any information should thoroughly be investigated before making part of media reports can bring a high moral credibility to a journalist, he added. The President said Media Watchdog 4th Pillar is the real organization for the welfare of journalist community and will reach to every corner of the country to provide any possible help to the media professionals. The Coordinator of 4th Pillar International Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter Imran Mohmand and Investigative Coordinator S.K. Sami accompanied by local journalists discussed the problems faced by media persons in the province, Farouq Mirza along with other leadership of the council told that they are committed to find any reasonable solutions to overcome such undesirable issues to the journalist family. The local journalists expressed gratitude to the Vigilant Media Watchdog, 4th Pillar International and Farouq Mirza over lending them hand on such a crucial and needy time that will be remembered in the upcoming times.
