Asif Zakir replaces Rameez Raja Jr in Sindh squad for 2020-21 domestic season

Karachi: Senior first-class batsman Asif Zakir has replaced Rameez Raja Jr in Sindh’s squad for the upcoming 2020-21 domestic season.

According to reports, Rameez Raja Jr, who represented Pakistan in two T20Is in 2011 against Zimbabwe, has withdrawn to play this year’s domestic season as he has preferred to play club cricket in the United States of America (USA).

The 37-year-old Asif played for Balochistan last season. He was the leading run-scorer in the 2015-16 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He was named in Pakistan’s ODI squad against West Indies in 2017.
