Deputy Commissioner Sardar Tahir Mehmood along with SP Sajid Imran has inaugurated the seventh digital census in district Neelum by marking the first household in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner said that enumerators of various departments are performing their duties in the first phase of the district census, the implementation of the plan of action for the census has started in the district.
Circle supervisors have been appointed while Various blocks have been established in the district. The census will continue from March 1, 2023 to April 12023.
Deputy Commissioner Sardar Tahir Mahmood said that he is closely monitoring the digital census in Neelum. In this regard, the Police Department, Finance Department, Education Department and all other institutions have been instructed to use resources to make the campaign successful.
He also appealed to the public to cooperate with the census team as census is a national duty. He asked the census teams to display their authority cards so that citizens could easily access them.
