Islamabad: Editor-in-Chief of Country News Media Group, Sardar Hameed, visited senior Hurriyat leader Altaf Butt in Islamabad to offer condolences on the passing of his mother in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
During the visit, Sardar Hameed expressed profound sympathy for the bereaved family and acknowledged the sacrifices made by families supporting the Kashmir freedom movement. He noted that such losses underscore the personal hardships endured by families whose loved ones are actively involved in the struggle for the rights of Kashmiris.
The visit also highlighted broader humanitarian concerns, particularly regarding families of detained Kashmiri leaders who are often denied the opportunity to be with their loved ones in times of illness or bereavement.
