The Ministry of Religious Affairs has invited applications from Pakistani pilgrims wishing to attend the annual Urs of Hazrat Amir Khusro in India.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, interested pilgrims can submit their applications through the ministry’s website or at its offices by September 25.
A draw will be held on October 23 to select pilgrims for the religious visit, the spokesperson said.
Urs likely in March next year
The annual Urs of Hazrat Amir Khusro is expected to be held in New Delhi from March 22 to 29 next year, according to the ministry.
However, the final date for the commencement of the Urs will be announced after confirmation from the relevant authorities.
The ministry urged Pakistani pilgrims interested in attending the annual Urs to submit their applications before the deadline.
