Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that any society cannot develop without the rule of law and dispensation of justice.
He was addressing the oath taking ceremony of Mirpur District Bar Association where he administered the oath from the newly elected body of lawyers on Monday.
The PM AJK said that the government would not only consult the lawyers in the administrative affairs but also accommodate them in the government departments and banks.
He said that the bench and bar have a crucial role in dispensation of justice. He said that Mirpur Bar is among the largest bars of AJK and it produced renowned lawyers ,who made big contributions in judiciary as well as politics of the state.
The founder father of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam also hailed from the legal fraternity.
The PM AJK promised the lawyer to build a forensic lab at Muzaffarabad and Mirpur. He also announced 1500 Kanal of land for construction of a residential society for lawyers at Mirpur. The Prime Minister also donated Rs 6.00 million to Mirpur Bar Association.
On the occasion Mirpur District Bar Association Kamran Tariq and General Secretary Fazal Raziq Khan also spoke.
