Islamabad: The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has said that the newly elected local bodies members would work for the service of the people with dedication.
He was talking to Chief Election Commissioner of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Justice (R) Abdul Rashid Salaria, at Kashmir House here on Thursday.
During the meeting Chief Election Commissioner not only presented the Annual Report 2022 of the commission but also gave a detailed briefing on the recent municipal elections held in Azad Kashmir.
On this occasion, President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry congratulated Chief Election Commissioner Justice (R) Abdul Rashid Salaria on conducting peaceful and successful local elections in Azad Kashmir after 32 years.
Senior Member Raja Muhammad Farooq Niaz, and Secretary of the Election Commission, Sardar Ghazanfar Khan, were also present during the meeting.
