NEELUM: The rulers of past kept on neglecting Neelum valley due to which this beautiful piece of land is still backward, said the Speaker Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Shah Ghulam Qadir here on Thursday. He expressed this during his visit to his constituency in Neelum.
He said that if each government in past would have given the project of only 5 kilometers long road then the Neelum of today would have been quite developed. Roads, hydro power, and tourism can overcome all the deprivations of Neelum. The incumbent government of PML-N in Azad Jammu and Kashmir is taking remarkable steps for the raising the standard of the masses of Neelum. Roads, schools, and hospitals are facilitating the masses of Neelum. The government of PML-N has maintained the merit policy in the state, he further said.
A number of people announced to join PML-N AJK at the occasion. Shah Ghulam Qadir welcome all the new comers in the party.
