Muzaffarabad: Technical Education and Vocational Authority, Azad Jammu and Kashmir would constitute a committee consisting of instructors to implement the National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) in the technical training institutes in AJK.
This was decided in a meeting that was held here. The Chairman TEVTA, AJK Razaq Ahmed Nadeem presided over the meeting.
The meeting discussed the notifications issued by National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), which is the apex body regulating all regional institutes at the federal level regarding qualifications and new trades.
The Chairman TEVTA told the meeting that the newly formed committee will present its report regarding the implementation of NVQs in all educational institutions across Azad Kashmir after coordinating with principals of all institutes and instructors related to each trade.
The meeting was attended by Director Inam[D11] Asif Abbasi, Deputy Directors Adil Rasheed, Mohammad Saeed Khan, Assistant Directors Ijaz Khan, Sajid Abbasi, Principal Government Vocational Training Institute Muzaffarabad, Qasim Aziz and Chairman TOEFL, Muhammad Mohsin Khan.
