Mirpur: Minister Chaudhry Qasim Majid emphasizes the crucial role of education for societal and national development. Minister Majid discussed these ideas during a conversation with Professor Dr. Nazar Hussain Chaudhry, Director of Divisional Directorate Colleges. He praised Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq’s commitment to elevating the standard of education in public sector schools and colleges, aiming to remove barriers for the youth to access higher education. He highlighted the necessity of aligning our educational system with international standards, where educators from schools, colleges, and universities play a pivotal role.
Minister Majid stressed that without quality education, neither the government nor the state can progress, and in comparison to global advancements in science and technology, Azad Kashmir possesses talent that can contribute significantly. He urged the need for synchronization with international educational standards, involving educators from schools, colleges, and universities in this effort.
