MUZAFFARABAD: Muzaffarabad Food Authority is in action as sale of substandard eatables is at its peak in the state’s capital Muzaffarabad. In its recent operation, the authority sealed three go downs of substandard ghee and cooking oil in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday.
According to detail, there is strict ban on sale of substandard ghee and cooking oil in the country, but sale of such substandard goods and especially the cooking oil and ghee is going on in Muzaffarabad. Food Authority received various complaints of the citizens in this regard. Resultantly, District Food Controller, Sardar Saqib took an action and sealed the go downs selling substandard oil and ghee. Speaking at the occasion, Sardar Saqib said that no one will be allowed to sale substandard goods in Muzaffarabad. Grand operation will be conducted against all the shops selling the substandard eatables, he added.
