Four innocent youth killed by Indian troops in IIOJK: DFP

KASHMIR: The Democratic Freedom Party, a member of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has vehemently denounced the killing of four Kashmiris by Indian troops in the Jammu district of unlawfully occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

After detaining them as they were riding in a car in the Sidhra area of the district, the army killed four Kashmiri youth in a phoney encounter under the pretence of a cordon and search operation.

In a statement released in Srinagar, DFP spokesman advocate Arshad Iqbal referred to the martyrdom of four Kashmiri youth as the worst form of Indian state terrorism and said that the incident was just another chapter in the never-ending chronicles of fictitious encounters that have now become the norm in the region.

He claimed that in the unresting region where innocent people, especially the youth, are being killed by the trigger-happy forces operating under the cover of a number of harsh laws that give them impunity, the racist regime, which enjoys inflicting pain and punishing Kashmiris, has increased its state terrorism.

The spokesperson pleaded with the international community, especially the human rights organisations, to play their proper part in putting an end to the ongoing killing of Kashmiris in the occupied territory and holding India responsible for the war crimes carried out by its forces against the Kashmiris.
