Police nabs culprits for theft at media house , stolen good recovered

Peshawar: In a significant operation conducted by Gulberg Police Station, Peshawar, suspects involved in the theft of computer systems and UPS from the office of the Country News in Super Market were apprehended, and stolen goods were recovered.

Under the supervision of DSP Cantt Amjad Khan, SHO Asad Khan of Gulberg Police Station successfully tracked down and arrested individuals involved in the theft at the Super Market area of Peshawar Cantonment.
The arrested suspects include one local resident and another individual from Afghanistan. The suspects involved in the theft had stolen computer systems and UPS from the office during the Eid holidays in the darkness of the night and had sold the stolen goods to a reseller.
The Police Station Gulberg had been alerted about the incident, leading to the arrest of the suspects. During the initial interrogation, the arrested individuals confessed to their crime, leading to the recovery of the stolen computer systems and UPS. Further investigation is ongoing.

According to the details, complainant Zeeshan had reported the theft of computer systems and UPS from the office to Gulberg Police Station, following which a case was registered, and further investigation was initiated.
Police conducted surveillance using CCTV cameras at various locations, including the Super Market. Suspicious individuals and criminals were identified, and their data was collected. Subsequently, the suspects were tracked down and arrested, with their identities confirmed as Hashir son of Jahangir and Zahidullah son of Shakirullah.
The arrested individuals confessed to their crime during the initial interrogation, leading to the recovery of the stolen computer systems and UPS. Further investigation is underway.
