Government to provide help to landslide’s affectees : PM AJK

Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, has said that the AJK government will leave no stone unturned in providing relief to the affected people from landslide during the monsoon season.
He said this, while chairing a meeting at his office . He said that the government , within its resources, will make efforts to alleviate the losses suffered by the affected people due to land sliding by providing them timely compensation. The well-being of the affected people is a top priority.
The PM issued directives that full assistance may be provided to them for construction of their houses after their relocation to proposed site.
Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, emphasized the need for effective guidance to the people by the administration during the recent weather conditions.
He also appealed to the public to follow the instructions given by the administration. He mentioned that relief will be provided to those who have suffered losses due to the monsoon rains.
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that the arrangements will be made for the swift relocation of the affected individuals to alternative places in the case of landslides in the suburb of Muzaffarabad city.
He emphasized that all blocked roads will be opened as soon as possible to reduce the difficulties faced by the people.
The meeting was apprised by the district administration that data regarding the losses in entire Azad Kashmir due to the recent heavy rainfall is compiled.
The meeting was also told that Kohala-Muzaffarabad Road has been opened for traffic and alternate lands in Muzaffarabad is proposed for the people affected by the heavy landslides.
