Govt should protect my son and my family: Liaqat Begum

SWABI: An Unknown persons attacked our house in the dark of night and tried to kill my son Niqash Ali on thursday night, fortunately, he was not present in the house and survived from them.

These views were expressed by Niqash’s mother, liaqat begum of maneri bala, swabi while talking to press conference here on thursday. “We have no enmity with anyone and our lives are in serious danger, she told.

The police have started investigating the incident and started searching for the unknown accused. “We have collected the evidences from the sites, initiated the investigation as soon those behind the attacks would face music”, the police sources said.

“In the year 2021, my son Niqash Khan was shot at by unknown persons when he was going to the university, but he miraculously survived the shooting and the car was severely damaged, on which the police have registered a case against the unknown accused and started investigating the matter”, she acknowledged.

“We have no enmity with anyone, and our house in maneri swabi, has been attacked by unidentified persons at night, she said, adding that before this my husband Mir Ali Khan has also been tortured by unknown persons in various ways and they have been firing at him at various times and he have also received threatening letters and calls from unknown accused, claiming that he remained with US Military in Kuwait and Iraq provided information to military official, now that he is living abroad hence unknown persons are trying to kill my son Naqash Khan instead of his father mir ali khan.

“We are facing such treats as my husband was employed in the US Military due to which such incidents are happening to us and our lives are in serious danger”, she said.

The Victim appealed to the govt and concerned security institution for protection of her son and family lives and provision of security till situation normalized.
