Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq has said that the Indian occupying forces could not diminish the affection of the people of occupied Kashmir for Pakistan, despite their worst atrocities.
PM AJK expressed these views during meetings with various political delegations at his residence here.
He said that Kashmiri people are awaiting the implementation of the United Nations resolutions. The relationship between Kashmiris and Pakistan is unbreakable in every aspect. The popular slogan of Syed Ali Shah Geelani, “We are Pakistanis, Pakistan is ours,” resonates in the hearts of every Kashmiri. The people of occupied Kashmir express their love for Pakistan by burying their martyrs wrapped in the green flag.
Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq said that the Kashmiri people will never allow the completion of India’s oppressive ideology. The series of sacrifices by Kashmiris, which started in 1947, still continues. Today, the third generation of Kashmiris is determined to achieve their right to self-determination, just like their ancestors.
He said that on both sides of the Line of Control, Kashmiris are observing Kashmir’s Accession to Pakistan Day with the determination to continue the struggle until the achievement of their right to self-determination and to counter all measures aimed at changing the demography of Indian-occupied Kashmir.
“Whenever the Pakistani cricket team wins a match, the most celebrations are seen in Srinagar. Despite the worst atrocities in occupied Kashmir’s human history, whenever Kashmiris get the opportunity, they proudly wave the flag of Pakistan to express their belief. He said that Kashmir shares geographical, ideological, religious, and cultural ties with Pakistan”, he added.
Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that on July 19, 1947, the historic decision of the top Kashmiri leadership turned the struggle towards the destination of freedom. Today, the Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir stand before the oppressive Indian forces with unwavering determination to achieve that great objective. He said that Pakistan has always provided full support to the Kashmiris and effectively presented the Kashmir case at international forums. The Kashmiri people will continue their struggle until the entire state of Jammu and Kashmir is free from Indian occupation and becomes a part of Pakistan.
